Pressure wash sidewalks and driveway
Every year on June the 23rd
The concrete sidewalks and driveways around your home are one of the first thing guests will see. Cleaning them with a regular power washing will keep them looking great and eliminate any slick spots that could leave to someone falling and injurying themselves.
Things You'll Need
- A broom or leaf blower
- A pressure washer
- Pressure washer surface cleaner (highly recommended)
- Concrete cleaner
Time Involved
2-4 hours
What You Need to Do
- Remove anything sitting on the sidewalks and driveway.
- Use a broom or leaf blower to clear all debris off the sidewalks and driveway.
- Using the pressure washer, at low pressure (or a wide tip), wet down the area to be cleaned. If you are dealing with a very large area, then each step should be followed for each section.
- Using the pressure washer, apply the detergent/cleaner at a low pressure (or a wide tip).
- Allow the cleaner to sit on the concrete for 5 minutes.
- Clean the surface at high pressure. For best results utilize a surface cleaner. If not using a surface cleaner, use even strokes and a consistent distance.
- Mark this task complete.
For an extra bonus, clean the concrete gutters on the street as well.
