Ensuring that there is adequare salt in your softener is essential to its operation. Visually inspecting the unit on a regular basis can help identify if there are any leaks or anything else out of normal.

What You Need to Do
- Visually inspect the water softener, the pipes entering and leaving it, and all the connections for any sign of water leaks.
- Remove the lid for the brine tank.

- Add salt as appropriate.
- Replace the lid on your brine tank.
